NORTHERN THAILAND FISHING COMPETITION (NOVEMBER 2010)

While guiding two Dutch clients, Arjan van der Linde and Ingmar Ooms, in scenic Northern Thailand, Jean-Francois Helias heard about a fishing tournament due to take place in the local area. As some light relief from the usual heavy duty fishing, the three guys decided to enter the competition.

In a remarkable display of angling skill, the trio managed to take first and second place in two different categories.

In a true display of sportsmanship, the prize money was used to buy a large amount of alcohol which was then shared with and much appreciated by the other competitors. Whilst the two trophies gained remain on permanent display in the company office of Fishing Adventures Thailand.
