"Our International Committee Representative from Thailand, Jean-Francois Helias, recently met with Dr. Zeb Hogan in Bangkok to help him capture specimens of Mekong giant catfish (Pangasianodon gigas) for his work.
Hogan earned an undergraduate degree in ecology and evolutionary biology from the University of Arizona. He leads a new National Geographic Society project to identify and protect the world’s largest freshwater fishes. The project is aiming at finding and studying giant fishes such as the Mekong giant catfish."
